TD2000 Cars Malaysia is exported to Thailand
21 September 2010 - TD Cars Malaysia, makers of the TD2000 have announced plans of exporting their MG-inspired car to Thailand. The Malaysian company recently signed an agreement with Tycoon Car Co Ltd, which have been appointed as the official distributor in the country. According to Edward Teo, the managing director of classic car manufacturer TD Cars (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, they have confirmed that Tycoon Car Co Ltd of Thailand will be their distributor for their TD2000 classic car.
Toyota settles lawsuit tied to crash that triggered recalls
20 September 2010 - Toyota owners had been contacting the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration about unintended acceleration issues for years, but one tragedy put the spotlight on Toyota's problems. Last August, California police officer Mark Saylor and three family members died when the family's 2009 Lexus ES 350 rental flipped and caught fire after a trapped floor mat reportedly caused the vehicle to speed out of control.
