New Daihatsu Move 2011 unveiled in Japan
25 December 2010 - Designed from scratch, the new Move is said to feature the most fuel-efficient petrol engine—capable of returning 27.0 km/litre—available in Japan. Paired to a CVT gearbox, the second-generation 660 cc KF engine produces 52 hp and 60 Nm, with the power driving either the front wheels or all four wheels.
DRB and VW signs agreement, RM1billion to be invested
22 December 2010 - A sum of RM1billion has been agreed on the collaborative agreement between local automotive giant DRB-Hicom Bhd and its new partner, German car maker Volkswagen AG. The 2 automotive companies signed an agreement recently which will enable DRB to assemble Volkswagen models in Malaysia and this put the company further up the market and will also help to propel Malaysia into becoming Asean automotive hub.
