Volkswagen Group Reaches 4 Million Vehicle Deliveries

24 July 2011 - Volkswagen Group managed to exceed car and SUVs deliveries of 4 million cars for the first time, fact made possible by a growing demand in all markets. Also, deliveries in June took an up-course by 9.8% to 438,500 vehicles. The manufacturer will release individual sales figures for all its brands, including Audi, Bentley and Lamborghini.






Proton Rated as Reliable Car in London Research

22 July 2011 - LONDON: Proton has cause to celebrate following new research released by Direct Line Breakdown which has revealed the most reliable cars on British roads. According to the research, Proton’s range of cars has been listed as the fifth least likely to suffer mechanical breakdown, coming hot on the heels of Honda, Toyota, Mazda and Nissan.

Asia’s Highest Parking Rate, Hong Kong

18 July 2011 - Hong Kong’s rental yield of car parking spaces tops 4% per annum, relatively higher than the other sectors such as residential and office properties. Hong Kong is the most expensive Asian city to park a car while London tops the list globally, according to a survey by Colliers International.






Toyota Recover Sooner Than Expected

15 July 2011 - The Japanese car manufacturer has recovered earlier than expected and now plans to begin normal routine by October 1st.Toyota has shortened its list of possible risk parts to 30 from more that 1,200 originally disrupted by that March 11 earthquake. Officials from Toyota are saying that those remaining parts are readily available.
