Hyundai dual clutch transmission – DCT development 2011

03 December 2010 - Hyundai Motor Company is developing dual-clutch transmission for its future mid-size sedans, crossover vehicles and compact cars. With its new six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, Hyundai will join the likes of BMW, Volkswagen and Audi which all already have such gearboxes on sale.






RON97 petrol up 15 sen to RM2.30

01 Disember 2010 - Motorists who are using RON97 for their cars will have to pay an extra 15 sen per liter beginning today – 1st of December 2010. But thankfully, it's only RON97 petrol that has increased in price - from RM2.15 per litre to RM2.30. A source said the increase was triggered by a rise in the crude oil price in the world market.






In Thailand, New Proton Saga Facelift Unveiled

30 November 2010 - The new Proton Saga facelift has been unveiled at the 2010 Thailand International Motor Expo, days ahead of its Malaysian launch at the 2010 Kuala Lumpur International Motor Show (KLIMS). While there are no mechanical changes in the powertrain department, the facelifted Saga has received a number of alterations to the exterior and interior.






2011 Nissan Teana Launched In Malaysia

25 November 2010 - Edaran Tan Chong Motor has launched the Nissan Teana, a large D-segment sedan introduced to take on the likes of Toyota Camry and Honda Accord. Four variants are available for selection: the locally-assembled 2.0 Comfort at RM 138,000, the locally-assembled 2.0 Luxury at RM 142,000, the locally-assembled 2.5 V6 Premium at RM 168,000 and the fully-imported 3.5 V6 Exquisite at RM 248,500; prices are on-the-road with insurance.






Hyundai Overtakes Toyota as the Biggest Asian Carmaker in Europe

No Technical Collaboration With Proton For Current Models, Says MMC

 15 November 2010 - Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) Japan has collaborated with Proton Holdings Berhad (Proton) for many years and most recently, the technical support provided to Proton for the development of the new Inspira.
