Kia Motors posts record sales and annual net distinction in 2010

08 February 2011 - Kia Motors said annual net profit and sales surged to all-time highs last year as it sold a record number of vehicles amid strong gains in China, Europe and the United States. Kia, maker of the Sorento crossover, earned 2.25 trillion won ($2.02 billion) in 2010, the company announced Friday. That was a gain of 55 percent from 1.45 trillion won the year before.






BMW May Launch 13 Front-Drive Cars

03 February 2011 - Rumors about front-wheel-drive vehicles have been swirling around BMW for some time now, and word on the Bavarian street is that this drivetrain shift in BMW's portfolio is set to launch sooner than we may think. Initially, we believed front-wheel drive would be limited to just a sub-compact here and a compact coupe there, but now comes word that the German automaker could produce up to 13 front-wheel-drive vehicles by 2016.

28 January 2011 - Toyota recalled nearly 1.7 million cars worldwide Wednesday for possible fuel leaks, the latest in a ballooning number of quality problems that could further tarnish the company's reputation in the United States.






Audi - Auto Union Type C-tron Prototype

27 Janury 2010 - Audi will once again present a selection of its products to the 62nd edition of the International Toy Fair in Nuremberg (3-8 February). The highlight of the 2011 edition will be "Auto Union Type C-tron's study" electric propulsion. 25 January 2011 - The Malaysian government will not force a merger between Proton and Perodua, Minister of International Trade and Industry Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed said, making clear that any plans between the two national automakers will need the approval of their respective stakeholders.
