RACER-X MAKES DEBUT IN MALAYSIAN SUPER SERIES
TEMACAR - After Akademi Fantasia, Mentor and MyTeam, television's reality show syndrome now spreads into motor racing via the Malaysian Super Series as participants of Racer-X Reality Show took the track at Sepang Circuit today in the newly-introduced Naza PanGlobal Blade Cup.
To be screened in NTV7 from August, five rookie riders - Ozi Shahrul, Harry Jantan, Muhammad Fairuz Zain Salleh, Zulkarnain Shahdan and Elya Haizat - would compete against each other for a prize of RM20,000 and an opportunity to make a name in motor racing.
It was truly severe test for the rookie riders at free practice today as they had their first taste of the power of the 650cc Naza Blade on a wet, challenging 2.7-km Sepang Circuit North Track under a mild drizzle. www.malaysiangp.com.my
