Continental Sime Tyre PJ Sdn Bhd Road Safety Campaign

08 September 2010 - Petaling Jaya, 5th September, 2010: Continental Sime Tyre PJ Sdn. Bhd. (CST PJ), in collaboration with the Ministry of Transport (MOT) and the Road Safety Department (JKJR) is organizing a Road Safety Campaign at the Seremban Rest Area (South Bound) with the main aim of promoting awareness on tyre safety to the motorists during this Hari Raya festive season.

The campaign from Sept 4– 9 is being held in collaboration with the Ministry of Transport and the Road Safety Department.

According to Choong Kee Seng, Sales & Marketing Director for Continental Sime Tyre PJ, “We feel as part of our corporate responsibility to educate the public on the aspect of tyre maintenance and safety in view of the government’s aggressive call to reduce road accidents/road fatalities during the festive months.”

Road Safety Department director-general Datuk Suret Singh launched the campaign organized by MOT/JKJR/CST PJ on Sunday, the first to be held jointly by the three parties.

Also present were Road Safety Department deputy director-general Sim Say Kiong  and the department's Negri Sembilan director Mohd Rusdi Ismail.
