New Proton Inspira based on Mitsubishi Lancer previewed on TV3

06 September 2010 - Proton decided to give Media Prima’s TV3 a scoop on the new Proton Waja replacement “P390A” model based on the current generation Mitsubishi Lancer. A TV3 program earlier this week had shots of a covered Proton-badged Lancer with a red paintjob.

News about the newest model Proton Waja replacement or Proton Waja Replacement is a hot and much awaited by all. Proton Waja is a model developed by Proton from R & D and it is not a model of the Mitsubishi direbadge. After a long launched by Proton and growing popularity sinking deck presence of other models of the same segment as the Toyota Vios and Honda City, the new Proton Waja will be launched by the end of this year. Proton is the desire to dominate the market back in the C segment is now only depends on the Persona model only with a very rewarding sales volume every month.

If the first fully built by Proton Waja, Proton is whether this means building a new Proton Waja start from A to Z? Such arrangement seems quite impossible for a company like Proton to profitability in small quantities. Proton may not be willing to bear the risk of building a new model with high costs and then bear the risk when the model was only able to sell in small quantities. Companies like Naza and Perodua cars which do not require itself to build a profit selling large, but quite simply to sell the cars from other brands direbadge again. It seems that Proton is following in the footsteps of the order to reduce costs, thus able to record profits again as they would enjoy in the years prior to 2005 first.

If according to rumors in the world of motoring, the new Proton Waja is no longer an original model from Proton, but it is a model from Mitsubishi direbadge. This item is no longer a secret as well known as Proton was established back in collaboration with Mitsubishi. Strategy was terminated by Proton for a while ago and now Proton has to accept the fact that without cooperation with other companies that Proton would not be able to build and sell a lot of new models. The same strategy is used by large companies such as Kia, Nissan, Mazda, Toyota, Ford, Subaru and more in order to maintain continuity in the automotive world that require large amounts of capital to carry out R & D for each new model .

If the rumors are true that the new Proton Waja is a model of the Mitsubishi Lancer which direbadge, meaning Proton back step backwards as popular as they launched their first model of the Proton Wira. Although the strategy does not show that Proton will be following in the footsteps of Kia and Hyundai are more aggressively into the automotive giant, Proton is actually no other choice. With limited capacity, even if they have the Lotus, Proton does not compete with other large automotive company. Even though the Proton Perodua has failed, so what can you expect from Proton to compete with companies from Japan and European automotive?

Exclusive new evidence about the new version of the Proton Waja Mitsubishi Lancer has now spread in automotive blog with a few pieces of photo display spyshot the first successful recordings. So far no official confirmation of the authenticity of these pictures, but it is believed to be actual photos of a Proton Waja Replacement to be launched soon.
