16 August 2010 - In order to get the maximum performance out the petrol for maximum mileage and power, ensure that your car has optimum combustion of the petrol and air mixture which requires a clean engine.
BHPetrol has launched its new Infiniti Advanced 2X range of RON95 and 97 fuel which feature, for the first time locally, Advanced Additive Compound (AAC) from Germany - for exceptional cleaning performance out of the petrol for maximum mileage and power, and at no extra cost.
The fuel are priced at RM1.85 per litre for RON95 and RM2.10 for RON97. BHPetrol managing director Tan Kim Thiam today said, “To get the most of your petrol, you need a clean engine. Petrol, being a hydrocarbon compound, will leave deposits in your engine, blocking the intake valve, clogging the injection nozzle and preventing full combustion of petrol.”
Tan and BHPetrol general manager (retail) James Khoo earlier placed their palms on a sensor plate to launch the fuel in a flashy ceremony.
AAC, a fully-synthetic multifunctional petrol additive that comprises a potent detergent and friction modifier, serves to keep the engine clean and reduce its internal friction. With the Advanced Double Strength formula, the fuels are AAC-treated at a recommended 800ppm to offer a boost in fuel savings and performance.
Having been tested over 420 hours by an independent petrol test centre in Germany on a Mercedes-Benz engine, the Infiniti Advanced 2X fuels were shown to reduce intake valve carbon deposits by 94% to 3mg per valve, compared to petrol without additives.
In conjunction with the launch, BHPetrol is organising the Infiniti Fever Frenzy contest. The grand prize is a Mercedes-Benz C200 CGI BlueEfficiency. Other attractive prizes include a Samsung Blu-ray Home Theatre System and BHPetrol Cash Vouchers worth RM5,000.
All you need to do is buy a minimum of RM30 worth of the new fuel on a single receipt, complete an entry form, attach the receipt to the form and drop it into the contest box at any of the BHPetrol stations nationwide. The promotion ends Oct 16.
